all apps work as intended, except one. So the probability it is the device are almost null.
Is as relevant as the answer I can gave you:
The app works as intended on all devices except one. So the probability it is the app are almost null.
Also you do not tell what devices you tested it on
I did answer that, still waiting for your list of changed options asked
You should be testing it on every device this app could be played on
According to Play Store, that’s 14000 devices with a very very conservative cost of 150$ that’s about 2.1 million $ + all the storage, cabling energy to handle that …
Now since you don’t believe me and my test or my ears, @splinter can you test the linked file and report how it plays?
From the last logs, you are not using the EQ and it’s your phone decoder that decodes the files not Symfonium so if you still have an issue honestly I have no idea except that the other apps maybe don’t play at hi res.
Android 13? Fancy that you mention it; I just tried it on my phone, which happens to be also Android 13, and I could not make it play at all. The browser works fine, finds files and all, just clicking on it does nothing. Could not start playing. What says you? - Looks like another “discovery” to me.
That means the logging is broken too. On attempt to play the slider advances to 2 then back to 1 second and freezes. Next title advances, but freezes on the first or the second second. Exit does not seem to help either, the app has to be killed.
… and that is on the phone. It does play on ibasso DX180 but, as stated upthread, the sound seems to be messed up somewhat. Yup, as splinter stated it, every device handles it differently.
The logging system that I use on 2 apps and 7 millions downloads since 14 years now is broken of course
I mean why do you even start to play on upnp and generate logs from that?
So stop casting , kill the app if you think it’s better, enable logs and reproduce…
So much time lost for nothing. As I suggested before you can also just assume that the app is broken on your device and that I won’t be able to fix as no access to that device.
I cast with the other apps (HiFi Cast, Bubble upnp, etc.), symfonium must’ve been set only once to try it, and I did not uninstall it. It’s beyond the point, The app does not work well on Android 13, and in some cases, as on my phone, it does not work at all. Good try to deflect, you need to work a little bit harder on it.
