Even after reading the documentation about syncing of playlists, I am unclear how to sync all my playlists at once, and how to do that routinely as part of a regular sync operation.
Device type
Phone
Media provider
Emby
Steps to reproduce
Do full server sync, playlists aren’t updated with current server-based playlist contents
Do full sync from within Playlist module, playlists still aren’t updated.
Do manual sync of a single playlist, it works.
Attached our screenshots of a single playlist in Emby, in Symfonium, and the settings I had enabled. What’s the correct way to continue syncing changed playlists without having to manually update each one?
Strange. Anyway, see new log labeled TWSF4. This time trying to sync the playlist “Persian Party.” Images of each of the key steps below: Emby, Symfonium, full sync (no change in Symfonium), playlist module sync (still Symfonium not updated with new files added to Emby playlist). What’s the right way to set this up?
That’s what I needed to know. Yes, I read this earlier. I would suggest you slightly revise that documentation to make it a little bit clearer that changes within a playlist won’t update unless the initial import was read-only or online. I will now go back and delete all the playlists on Symfonium and start from scratch the way you suggest.
Where do we set default playlist import settings, so future playlists are also automatically imported as read-only and kept updated?
