Actually it has been like this ever since I’ve bee using Symfonium: we can display a “Recent artists” section in the home page. But actually, for my phone, they’re not “recent” artists. They’re just the first artists ordered alphabetically, that’s all.
It sort by the date added returned by the provider.
Subsonic does not support that.
Is it supported by the opensubsonic API? I use LMS as server and I have the same problem. The “date added” sort doesn’t work for artists. (It works for albums though)
