How can I "Continue album listening"?

What determines which albums show up under “Continue album listening” and “Recent albums”? I can’t see any pattern to what I’ve listened to showing up under these. It seems like nothing new has shown up under “Continue album listening” since I bought the app a few weeks ago, even though I’ve listened to a few partial albums since then.

What is the difference between “Recent albums” and “Recently added albums”? I do see albums I recently added show up under the latter, so that one makes sense.

I found a reference to “Save Now Playing state” in the online docs, but that setting does not exist on my Playback settings page.

It’s not consistent but if you’re listening to an album and you’re on maybe the third song, in the middle of said song and you switch to a completely different album, the app records a save state and the resume button then appears on the album page (if you have it selected of course)

Thanks for the input. That’s how I figured it’s supposed to work, but as you say, it’s been very inconsistent.
