Hide WORK in Album View

Feature description:

I’d like to be able to hid the headers that appear in album view when a WORK tag is applied to a track.

Problem solved:

Unlike the headers that appear for discs the WORK header does not point you to or allow immediate playback of an entire WORK. In my case this means the headers made by the WORK tag sort of just denote that tracks are apart of a work so I’d rather they be hidden from my album view as I’ll likely use track or album view in junction with smart filters to populate a queue with a specific work.

Brought benefits:

This could help cleanup some albums which contain multiple WORKS / Discs

Other application solutions:

Additional description and context:

If I’m understanding the WORK tag correctly It is to be used for different versions of one track or editions of a track.

EX: an artist has a song entitled “Father Figure Pt. 1” on an album that released in 2016, “Father Figure Pt. 2” on an album that released in 2018 & so on. These two tracks & any that follow are from different releases but apart of the same WORK, a series or continued story if you will.

Other than that I apparently have albums which are all apart of one WORK but the WORK matches the album name so I’m not sure if the tag is even significant in those scenarios.

Screenshots / Mockup:

Uncheck the option group by work as the Changelog explains ?

I tried that but I saw no changes do I need to re-sync or clear tag cache before toggling that?

If not… if / when I get the error to replicate I’ll send logs & proper support request

There’s nothing to do and if an option does not do what it should do it’s usually an issue

Anyway was able to reproduce will be fixed.

In Your reproduction did the app crash or did the album view just keep the WORKs grouped?

I have one album where the WORK is just still there but another album I have crashes the app when I scroll through it
