To hide the navigation bar in Symfonium you just need to change the Main screen tabs option (Settings/Interface) to only contain 1 tab that will be the only screen in the app. (If you remove all the home tab will be shown).
You can then tweak the active screen to show shortcuts to the relevant functions that your prefer, via home or library shortcuts.
