"Hide media not available offline" hides music from SD card

Issue description

“Hide media not available offline” filter that applies automatically when the device is offline hides music from SD card.

Steps to reproduce

Scenario 1:

  1. Go offline
  2. Open Symfonium
  3. Click one of the albums on Home page that’s stored on your SD card
    Expected:
  4. A track list appears
    Actual:
  5. “Nothing to display”
  6. Go back to Home
  7. Click Source Filter
  8. Uncheck “Hide media not available offline” (while still being offline)
  9. Go back to the same album
  10. It plays normally

Scenario 2:

  1. Play some music from your SD card
  2. Go offline
  3. Search for some other music (while the music from your existing queue still plays just fine)
  4. GOTO 4 in scenario 1.

Your log is empty so hard to tell anything.

Just resync the local provider as a test .

I followed the log upload procedure.

I’m using symfonium for over a year now and only now got to report this problem, I changed a phone inbetween and the problem persists. It really should be easily reproducible. But if there’s something I can do to fill in the log, I can do it

Well the procedure clearly explain that you need to reproduce the issue :wink: So the logs should at minimum contains your scenarios …

And I just told you what to test right now to confirm it fix it or not.

Sync helped, I’ll get back with a log when it happens again - it’s not the first time I run scan and the problem keeps coming back.
