Feature description:
At the moment, you can hide a song from library which hides it from an album but not from a playlist if it’s added to one. It’s a great feature but in my opinion it has a bug. If you hide all songs from an album, the album and the associated artist are still visible in the Albums/Artists library. I want empty albums and the associated artists to disappear from the Albums/Artists library (unless of course the artist has other albums in which case they should be in the Artists library but the empty album shouldn’t be visible when you click on the artist).
Problem solved:
Let’s say I have a playlist called Hits. It’s my favourite songs from albums by various artists but often times it’s just one song from an album. Or sometimes it may be a single with just one song. And I’m only interested in this one hit song. At the moment I can delete the song/all songs from the album/single but the album/single and the associated artist (if that was the only album by them in my library), will still clutter my library.
Brought benefits:
Lets you add songs to playlists only.
Other application solutions:
Spotify and Apple Music have this functionality.
