Half the tags in my database not registering

Issue description:

Hi, I have a media library of about 23000 songs across 1000 albums all hosted on Google Drive. I use MusicBee to to edit my tags. When I did a full media sync originally only about half my albums appeared when I sorted by genre (my preferred sort). I can find songs in these untagged albums by searching, but they are not registering in the app. I’m unsure why some folders appear correctly and some do not. I fully unsynced and resynced my library and a different set of albums correctly synced this time. I’ve tried banning and unbanning folders and I’ve tried renaming folders and resyncing my tags but neither of these worked. If I listen to music via the file directory function everything plays completely fine, they just appear untagged. I’ve tried retagging tracks in MusicBee and resynced Symfonium but this hasn’t helped either. I believe I’ve sent my debug logs to support but please let me know if I did something wrong. This app seems like the perfect fit for my music library so I would love to get this fixed. Thanks!

The logs don’t show the actual tag extraction so I guess they are all in the cache.

Google Drive API is very slow so it may require a few sync to avoid issues.

In all cases you should try to join the Beta on Play Store, there’s a better handling of possible previous failures to better attempt to extract tags on next runs.

I’ve tried syncing a few times but it always just rescans the file tags to no new results. Is there another more thorough sync option I’m missing that won’t just restart my library from scratch? If doing a tag cache clear and rescan would better help you figure out the problem then I can do that. I did it once before but did not see much improvement, just a different set of albums appearing with tags

Don’t clear cache, just join the beta.
