Issue description
On my Galaxy Note8 running Android 9, the initial Navidrome library synchronization completes successfully and music playback works normally. However, every subsequent manual synchronization gets stuck on “Preparing sync” and does not finish. Reinstalling Symfonium did not resolve the issue. The same Navidrome server synchronizes normally on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and Note10+. Expected behavior: subsequent synchronization should complete normally.
Device type
Phone
Media provider
Subsonic (Open)
Steps to reproduce
- Install Symfonium 15.1.0 on a Samsung Galaxy Note8 running Android 9.
- Connect to a Navidrome server using Subsonic (Open).
- Complete the initial library synchronization successfully.
- Open the synchronization manager.
- Tap Sync for the Subsonic source.
- Observe that synchronization remains stuck on “Preparing sync” until manually canceled.
Additional information
Device: Samsung Galaxy Note8 (SM-N950N)
Android: 9 / One UI 1.0
Symfonium: 15.1.0
Server: Navidrome (OpenSubsonic)
The initial library synchronization completes successfully (1,378 tracks). Music playback works normally.
However, subsequent manual synchronization gets stuck on “Preparing sync” and does not complete.
I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Symfonium, but the problem persists.
The same Navidrome server works correctly on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and Note10+.
I enabled debug mode, reproduced the issue, and uploaded the logs.
