Flac file not playing

Issue description:

This flac file stops playback right at 56 seconds every time, I’ve tried removing the offline cache and caching it (fixes the problem basically every other time). I’ve tested the file with the flac command and it passes. I’ve tested the original file on the server, it also passes. I’ve tried clearing playback cache in Symfonium but it still stops playback at 56 seconds. Typically, when I’ve had bad cached files playback will pause with the play button switching rapidly between play and pause, this actually stops playback and clears the queue as if it has reached the end, and that’s a new symptom I haven’t seen before. Offload is enabled under decoding.

I’ve looked at the file with Audacity, and I don’t see anything strange. Also don’t know exactly what i"m looking for, but nothing stood out at me.

Looking at the log means nothing to me, I don’t see anything that obviously looks like an error. Hopefully you can tell me what the issue is here.

Thanks for you time while you’re on holiday, I appreciate it!

Realistically, there’s probably an issue with the file, but I figured I should submit a log just in case there’s something else going on… and if you could let me know how you went about finding the problem with the file so I can check for myself in the future, that would be excellent. Ideally, I would like to find some way to automate checking FLACs for issues as part of my process adding them to my library.

In those logs you have disabled the prefer internal decoder option so the issue is between the file and the device codecs. Reenable that option to have Symfonium handle the decoding and maybe see more.
