FLAC downloads unexpected transcoding

Issue description

I have attempted to save my Favourites to my phone for offline play as original quality FLACs for a long international flight.

My Navidrome logs indicate these files are not being transcoded (“transcoding=false”) but a small quantity of files (~2%?) are transcoded when I play them offline in Symfonium.

I have attempted this five times now, the files which are transcoded are the same every time. An excerpt of Navidrome logs which include impacted files are detailed below.

What actual songs ? You probably have already offline cached with transcoding via other times, they are not replaced.

Hey Tolriq, example tracks in this log which are still .oggs include

  • The Old You
  • The Brain
  • White Lightning

I’ll delete the cache and re-cache, will see how I go. Thanks for the speedy reply. :slight_smile:
