Filtering out duplicates in smart playlists

Feature description:

Adding a rule that filters out duplicate tracks when making a smart playlist. This way you can create a smart list with all the tracks you want to add, all without adding duplicates of the tracks. Especially when the same track found in a studio album is also in a greatest hits album. or when multiple albums have the track.

Problem solved:

It solves the issue of having duplicates of the same track in the smart playlist

Brought benefits:

Essentially, it ensures that only one instance of the track is present in the playlist, ensuring that there is no duplicate of the track. An example of this would be the track called Motherland, by Crystal Kay. The track is on the CK5 album, as well as the Best of Crystal Kay. Adding this feature would ensure that only one of these tracks would make it to the list, but not the other, as there’s already one there.

There is no possible duplicates in smart playlists.

Those songs are all different different duration, different names, …
There’s no way to know that they are the same automatically.

You could tag the alternate versions with a song_tag for example saying alternate version and exclude them via a rule.

Thanks anyway. I’ll just delete all my smart playlists and just stick with using the regular playlist method.
