Filter playlists by type

Feature description:

Currently, there’s only one filter option for playlists: “Only Favorites”.

I’d like to request more filter options in the Playlists view, especially for filtering by type: regular playlists, song smart playlists, album smart playlists.

Problem solved:

I have hundreds of playlists from different types (regular, song, album) and sometimes I just want to choose one from my existing smart playlists, however, it gets cumbersome having so many playlists of all types.

I’m thinking about implemeting a naming convention so I can group them together with a prefix, but I think the proper way to solve this is by having these new filter options.

You can and should apply tags to your playlists to easily filter them on whatever criteria you want.

Thanks, that can work, but in my case, I have hundreds of regular playlists that were imported automatically, is there a way to tag them in bulk? I wouldn’t want to tag them one by one.

If you add #tag in the playlist names then the tags are automatically added when imported.( Support multiple tags)

I too am interested in simplifying the tagging process. Can you please give an example?

Not sure what more I can tell.

If the name of the playlist contains #tag then tag is added automatically during import.

Ok, if I have this correct if I import “My Favorite Playlist #Country” it would import it adding the tag “Country” to it? If that is the case it probably is just easier to manually add a tag.
