Filter artists by track tags (Smart Filter Chips)

Feature description:

I’d like to be able to filter artists using my track tags.

Problem solved:

I currently have tags for gender & race on each track as a track tag

The reason for this is if I added those tags to the artists tags they don’t always hold true for every artist in the field.

If Artist = SZA & 6LACK

My track tags will have:
Black Male;Black Female

Putting both these tags in artist tags means SZA & 6LACK would each appear under both those tags which would be inaccurate.

Brought benefits:

I obviously can’t tell you how people are using their respective track tags but this would give users a greater ability to finely tune their own filters.

I can also see there are other filter targets like:
Gender, Instrument, & Type that I’m assuming are available for different providers & not local devices.

The ability to use track tags as a filter for artists could mend that gap between the available filter targets for other providers.

This is a wrong solution to your problem.

But it would work.
For a local provider there’s no way i can think for me to tag individual artists unless my artist, album artist or composer field has only 1 artist. OR if the artist tag can accurately be attributed to every individual artist.
