Feature Request: "Reverse AutoEQ" to Simulate Other IEM Sound Signatures

Feature description:

I’d love to see a feature that lets us mimic the sound signature of other IEMs — kind of like a “Reverse AutoEQ.” Instead of tuning everything to a neutral target like Harman, this would let us apply the frequency response of one IEM to another. So for example, I could make my Moondrop Aria sound more like a 7Hz Timeless, or give it the bassy character of something like the Sony IER-Z1R.

Problem solved:

Personally, I’ve stopped using AutoEQ because it ends up making all my IEMs sound pretty much the same. It flattens out their personalities — and for me, that takes away a lot of the fun. I like how different each pair sounds, and I don’t always want that neutral, clinical presentation.

With this “reverse” approach, I could enjoy variety again, without buying a whole new set of IEMs just to try a different sound.

Brought benefits:

This feature would bring back the fun and variety in listening by letting users explore different sound signatures without needing to own multiple IEMs. It would be a great way to “try before you buy,” helping people get a feel for how other IEMs sound using gear they already have. It also gives more creative control — instead of everything being tuned to the same neutral target, listeners can choose the kind of sound they enjoy. Plus, it makes better use of the massive AutoEQ database, turning it into a tool not just for correction, but for experimentation and enjoyment.

This is a feature to ask to AutoEQ author to generate the files.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it is simply taking the existing AutoEq profile and do a “subtraction”, guess it may not be as easy as I thought.
