Favorite not updating UI state since version 14.0.0

Issue description

This only happens every once in a while, but ever since the 14.0.0 update, I’ve noticed the Favorite feature either doesn’t work (from notifications) or doesn’t update the UI state (in Now Playing screens or Android Auto). I have tried various app restarts, phone reboots, new queues, etc, but nothing reliably makes this feature work like I expect. I have observed that it will be working for a while, but at some point stops working and then continues not to work.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Favorite a song from notification: song is not favorited
  2. Favorite a song from Now Playing (compact or expanded) / Android Auto: favorite state is not reflected in UI

I’m having the same issue, any update?

@Tolriq - when can we expect an update? i add new music at least once a week, so at least once a week i have to workaround this bug so i can actually favorite things.
