Expose Replaygain tags as a string / boolean value

Feature description:

Symfonium is becoming more than just a client for me. The recent changes to check missing artwork on albums, allows me to also manage and view my servers library easily. It actually does a much better job than the server in most cases.

I would like to have a way to view the following replaygain info for example from the expanded player or more details page:

  • Replaygain values
  • Is applied yes/no
  • Applied on album or track basis

Problem solved:

Currently, this information is only viewable from captured logs.

Having it directly available as string / boolean values makes it easy to view and manage.

Brought benefits:

User benefits to assist with music management. But, also assist people to understand if replaygain is being applied and on what basis.

I support this request. My ReplayGain isn’t working and this would help a ton in troubleshooting

Not sure how it can’t be working unless the tags are not there, but, opening an issue with logs will get to the bottom of it. :slight_smile:

Just bumping to say I would also like a way to see if a track has ReplayGain applied and active, through some sort of indicator in the player. And say if it is track or album ReplayGain.

I too would like to have the ability to show/display RG values on Now Playing screens. It seems like it’s the only detail not available except in debug logs…
