Error During Sync

Issue description:

Firstly, the uploaded debug.log is large because I’ve been trying to track a number of bugs so left it on.

Attempted to save a track to a playlist that is on the server and received an “Error during sync” message. The message also says “Contact support if this keeps happening” so I’ve done that.

Occurred at 2025-01-16 07:28:00 so you can check the debug.log

Hi Tolriq,

Log uploaded in c0utta.zip via upload.symfonium.app.

Cheers

I do not see an error and the log stops at that timestamp.

Please create a small log and describe exactly the playlist type actual content and your actions.

Done.

Playlist is called “check” and is synced back to the server.

Thanks

The log is still 377 MB, you don’t describe the playlist type, it’s content and your actions

Log is there now - 3.8K zipped. I should have “Managed Symfonium generated files” before turning debug on.

From memory, I imported the playlist from Navidrome with “Online first” and “Skip duplicates”. This part may be important - the playlist was empty on Navidrome.

From the “Now Playing” I choose “Add to playlist” and receive the error message.

Now, this is really an edge case so don’t waste your time, because I did some further tests.

Although the error message is displayed, the tracks were added to the playlist anyway.

On Navidrome the playlist was still empty, but as soon as I added a random track, the playlist from Symfonium synced and I could see the tracks I added.

As I said, don’t waste time on this - probably related to the zero entry playlist right at the beginning.

Sorry to waste your time.

Ok so with all the proper details and logs I found the issue, yes it’s due to online first and being empty server side. Will fix.
