Editing Bio for albums that are on the device

Is it possible to set biographies for the local albums? I tried to use a lot of tag editors, but I guess they only edit the separate tracks, while I need to edit the albums tags. I tried to use automatic tag editor, but also doesn’t do anything.

It’s the description tag.

Yeah, and I asked if can I edit it.

Well yes? Proper tag editors support that, but that’s outside of Symfonium support.

Can you give me any clues when I can do that? If you know, of course. Because that’s what I tried to do myself, all the editors I found can’t edit the album data itself, only separate tracks, but the description tag is only about the albums. If I’d use Jellyfin it’d be there already, but I need to tag the local files instead, specifically the Albums, because I already got all the Moods, Genres, Composers, Artists and basically all the albums tags, except this description tag, I can’t find how to do it, but you’re more experienced, smart in this, so maybe you know if there’s anything that can do it, you know?

Albums tags are in the songs too …

Fill the description tag in all songs of the albums or at least the first one.

Tolriq, maybe it’s possible to edit the first track’s comment, put some album description there and make it shown on the album’s page? Because that’s how the moods and other tags work, like if you put some moods for a track, it’ll appear in the album’s page, like one of the general moods for this specific album, it doesn’t exactly show the moods for separate tracks, but generelizes them and shows them as the album’s moods, right? So maybe something like this can be done to the comment tag? Because all the android tag editors I found have the comment tag for the track, but don’t have the description tag, and I guess Symfonium doesn’t show the comment tag, or does it?

I can’t do one to one support on how to edit tags …

Comment tag is for track level comments, description tag is for album level description.

Mp3tag and many other apps support it, else your tag editor probably support custom tags and you need to manually add it.

Also so there’s no confusion.

Mp3tag maybe works just fine, but I need to do it all on my phone, since I only listen to local music. So if it’s not possible, I’m fine with it, it’ll be complicated, but I’ll just send all the files to the PC and tag it with Mp3tag if it allows to do that.

I figured it myself, so thanks.
