Duplicate buttons on Artist and Album pages

Feature description:

While not necessarily a feature request, in the long it might be useful to review what is currently set up in the app, and remove certain redundancies, like duplicate buttons in the Artist and Album pages.

I don’t think it’s a pressing matter by any means, but I do believe that in the long it’s things like these that will make the app feel “uselessly” cluttered.

In my eyes, having duplicate buttons so close to each other on the same page is completely redundant.

Problem solved:

This removes duplicate buttons in Artist and Album pages, and possibly other pages as well.

Brought benefits:

This simplifies the app while still keeping 100% of its intended functionality. Effectively the developer removes duplicate features that achieve the same thing, but serve no unique purpose with respect to each other.

Other application solutions:

I don’t know, this is just standard stuff for any platform once they get bigger and bigger.

Additional description and context:

The duplicate buttons are the “more” and “like” buttons that I know exist in the Artist and Album pages. They appear next to each other, and don’t seem to provide any more benefit than one of each buttons would bring.

Again, I don’t mean this in any mean way, I’m just saying to be careful as your app grows more and more, there’s bound to be a few things here and there that could be removed to not only keep full functionality and in fact make things feel less cluttered for the user, and therefore get a better user experience. Still, this isn’t a pressing issue for now I guess.

Read the changelog ?

Reapply the modem style or remove the duplicated button yourself if you had a specific config that was not properly migrated.

In Settings > Interface > Album page, you can uncheck Show favorite button and Show more button in either the Title section or the Buttons section.

Nice I didn’t know you could do that, this fixed it

Nah turns a few options we’re just turned on
