This feature would allow you to automatically keep your latest albums offline on your device.
This could function in a similar way to the “Download Favorites offline”
Secondary request, the ability to select how many recent albums to download automatically.
Making sure all new music is avaiable offline.
It will reduce the offline media management. Manually downloading your new music.
It will help new music dicoverability and access while in limited reception areas.

Interesting. I think this gets very close to what I was thinking using the “date range added within” feature.
However, perhaps a more useful filter to achieve the goal would be the ability to keep the last ‘n’ added albums, regardless of how long ago they were added to the library.

Already there too, just sort by date added and set a limit to the number of items. Add a simple default filter like date added is present.
