Songs with the same title are shown as different songs with different information about each but the audio player is shared between them.
I enabled the strict playlist mapping option but it didn’t change the behaviour.
I’m using navidrome and the default navidrome player doesn’t have this issue.

That’s why it’s said to use the search function.
This is a Navidrome choice to return fake filenames leading to issues with offline caching as they are duplicated (something that is not possible in real life).
You need to change navidrome settings to report the real file names and offline cache again the media.
Thanks for the reply. Sadly, I can’t get it to work still. I put “ TargetFileName = “{{.OriginalFileName}}” “ in the navidrome config file which should do what you suggested. However, when I download songs the issue still persists. I download each song separately, and they are separately marked as downloaded, but when I go to the downloaded tracks section only one of them shows up as downloaded. And I can’t find a way to download the other song as it’s already marked as downloaded.
That’s not the proper setting .
It’s a client configuration in Navidrome.
