Default action different if playing or not

Feature description

Currently there is only one choice for the default action when clicking on a media. I chose “play next” as I want it to queue stuff to play for me.
But when there’s nothing playing or something is paused it continues just queing.
I would very much like an option to “play or queue” that starts playing immediately if nothing is running but just queue the media (play next) if something is already playing (not paused)

Problem solved

Comfort launching play and queueing stuff

Brought benefits

Faster for me especially when in the car

This is already the case if nothing is playing. If the queue is paused this actually does not make sense for the vast majority of people sorry.

I don’t know for sure but “if nothing is playing" seems to me wrong in your response.

99% of the time my queue is not empty and nothing is playing, so this is what you say is “queue is paused" ?

I have no stop button in the app so the queue never gets emptied unless you open a submenu and his the trashcan icon.

I persist that when I open the app that has been unused for days and is in a state where the previous quque is “paused" it seems wrong to me that the default action “play next" doesn’t start playback.

But I can hear that it ain’t worth the effort or that there’s no time to dedicate to this, it’s already a great app and this doesn’t change that

If you hold the play button, it acts as a stop button, including on the mini player at the bottom

Thanks for the long press on :play_button: to stop :stop_button:

Helps a lot
