Couldn’t this be done in a way that Symfonium requests USB Access only when i open the app or if someone requests manually. Via the Playback Output option?
i’m on Beta 2 , having the exact same issue. under Playback → Output devices → Fiio KA5 (my DAC) → i changed USB playback mode to Android default
EDIT: I was actually on Beta 1..my bad. just installed Beta2 and there’s a new option under Playback-> Advanced for “Handle USB audio connections”
but I still get the pop up every time I connect the FiiO . deleting the device from the list doesn’t help, as it returns.
I’m on Android 11, and I also have USB Audio Player Pro installed that I prefer to use with exclusive mode with the FiiO , as Symfonium currently doesn’t pass through properly with the FiiO - I’m using Android Auto that takes control of the phone’s audio, and the only way I can get around it (currently) is using the UAPP app .
but for some reason I have the “set as default” option greyed out when I get the prompt to choose between the two apps at the bottom.
