Customization options for Nav bar background

Feature description:

The navigation bar looks rather plain. It would be awesome to have some customization features to pimp it up a bit. Being able to modify the opacity would be my main wish.

Problem solved:

Makes an already excellent looking app, look a little better. Like polishing your most prized diamond.

See screenshots of how the opacity settings would make the nav bar fit in with the rest of the fresh symfonium look.

Spotify does a nice job of it imo. (Screenshot 2)

You can already change that color in the theme.

But no way to make opaque like in the screenshot as far as I could tell?

I want to point out that previously you could do this before the compact now playing update but now it doesn’t work anymore as far as I know. Normally you’d have to edit the opacity of surfaceContainer but then it would only show the top of the full now playing screen. Now it doesn’t work and it only affects the small gradient between the compact now playing and the navigation bar.

And you opened an issue right ?

I just assumed it was how it worked now because of the floating compact now playing bar and I was explaining for the OP of this request. But I’ll open an issue now.

There is too many surfacecontainer options for me to know which one to pick, which one in particular changes the opacity of the nav bar?

Its much more user friendly to add a opacity slider dedicated for to the nav bar, similar like the compact now playing.

Just surfaceContainer without any other subheadings, you know there’s other elements that use the surfaceContainer heading so it affects them too (not noticeable in my experience)
