Add optional and customizable visual transition animations when navigating between pages in Symfonium.
For example:
Horizontal slide when moving from one page to another
Fade / crossfade between pages
Zoom transition when opening an album, artist or playlist
Ideally, a shared-element transition for album artwork, where the selected cover smoothly expands/moves into the artwork position on the destination page
The reverse animation when going back
It would be great to have a few animation styles to choose from, with the possibility to adjust the animation speed or disable animations entirely.
Problem solved
Navigation between pages currently feels very instantaneous, with little visual continuity between the page you leave and the page you open.
This is especially noticeable when opening an album from the library: the selected artwork disappears and the album page appears rather than visually connecting the two screens.
I think more fluid page transitions would make navigation feel more natural and give the interface a more polished and cohesive feel.

It would make navigation feel smoother and more visually engaging without changing the existing interface or functionality.
A shared transition involving the album artwork in particular could create a much stronger visual connection between the library and album pages.
Since this would be optional, users who prefer Symfonium’s current instant navigation could simply disable the animations. It could also be useful to have different animation speeds so that the effect remains subtle and doesn’t make navigation feel slower.
Other application solutions
Other Android music players already use animated screen transitions to make navigation feel more fluid.
For example, PixelPlayer uses smooth screen transitions and Material motion animations as part of its UI. Poweramp also makes extensive use of animated transitions and artwork-related animations.
What I would particularly like to see in Symfonium is the possibility of a shared-element style transition for album artwork: tapping a cover in the library could smoothly animate that cover into its position on the album page, and the reverse animation could be used when going back.
This would be similar to the navigation animations commonly found in modern Android applications, while remaining optional and configurable.
