Feature description:
Change “skip forward/backward 10s/30s” to simply “skip forward/backward” with a dynamic setting allowing custom skip amount values.
This could be done either with a hidden list item (like how some settings only show when you enable certain features) or with the cogwheel solution also used in some settings.
The extra setting could be a slider or input field (for very big values like 600s a slider might not be ideal).
Problem solved:
Currently, it is possible to skip 10s or 30s. This would allow skipping any custom amount.
Brought benefits:
Personally, I prefer spamming the button a few more times while having more precise backward and forward seeking, like 1s, 3s and 5s, i.e. for song analysis.
For very long audiobooks or classical suites, large values like 60s/1m, 120s/2m, even 600s/10m, might also be useful.
It would also declutter the choice menu somewhat.
