Crossfeed DSP

Feature description:

Hi, is there any possibility of adding a crossfeed to the DSP settings?

Crossfeed simulates the natural blending of sound from the left and right channels, as experienced when listening to speakers, rather than through headphones. This effect is often used to reduce listening fatigue and enhance spatial accuracy, providing a more natural and immersive experience for headphone users

Problem solved:

Headphone listening often causes fatigue due to isolated stereo separation, which feels unnatural. Crossfeed blends audio channels to mimic natural sound interaction, reducing fatigue and creating a more comfortable, immersive experience. Adding crossfeed to Symfonium’s DSP suite would greatly enhance comfort for frequent headphone users.

Brought benefits:

Adding crossfeed to Symfonium’s DSP suite would enhance listening comfort and realism, providing a more natural, speaker-like experience for headphone users. This feature would allow users to enjoy longer listening sessions with reduced fatigue, making Symfonium an even more appealing choice for audiophiles and anyone who values audio quality and customization.

Other application solutions:

USBAUDIO Player pro has a crossfeed but I have no idea of how it is implemented.

This is called Virtualiser in Symfonium DSP.

Ah my mistake. I had just assumed it was creating a pseudo-surround effect so didn’t give it a try.

Thanks for confirming
