Create smart playlist with only one album per artist

Feature description:

Create a smart albums playlist where you can limit the albums in this playlist to only one (or better, a user definable number) album per artist.

Problem solved:

I have a smart playlist that is the ten albums most recently added to the library with a play count of zero, i.e. new music I haven’t listened to.

When I add music I often add a lot of albums by the same artist so I would like to limit the albums in this playlist to only one album per artist. Ideally after I’ve listened to an album by that artist (assuming I added multiple albums) then the next new one will add at the end of the playlist.

Brought benefits:

I suspect others would like the same option to allow more varied playlists that the creator still has control over.

This is sort of achievable by setting album play count filter to 0, meaning, once the new album is played at least once it will no longer appear in the playlist.

Yes, I have that part working. But if I add a new artist with a dozen albums to my library then the whole playlist will just fill up with with albums from the same artist. That’s the part that I’m requesting a change on.
