Feature description
The feature would be an option to add plain text descriptions to manual playlists. I imagine it would be just on the local level like the local thumbnails.
Note: This might be considered a duplicate but the first posts were not specific, one was not responded to and the second was tagged a duplicate of that one. The first from 2024 is still tagged “needs-triage” instead of “wont-implement” so I am unsure if this means it was forgotten or if it still isn’t wanted. None the less, this post contains a lot more specifics and mock-ups so perhaps this counts as something different? Sorry if I’m mistaken.
Problem solved
An option to add/edit description (functioning much like the title of a local manual playlist) that allows a small description to be added to a local playlist (locally, similar to the way the local thumbnail might work).
This description could appear on a playlist’s page in small font under the title or stats or perhaps be hidden and accessible through a details option like how a song’s stored stats and comment field are viewed.
Brought benefits
I have many playlists that have overlapping themes and will sometimes add songs to the one I don’t mean to because I’ve forgot my intentions since starting the playlist. Playlist descriptions would help me keep the playlists better curated to what they were originally intended to be and keep me from having to write down disjointed list of information for each of the 50+ playlists. I imagine there could be lots of other benefits for other use cases as well. Maybe even leave myself small to-do lists like: -rip rest of TKDPL cds to add here; -double check for any songs with singing & remove them, -need to listen to new Pokemon OST to add here, etc.
Other application solutions
I believe platforms like Spotify have this feature (last I checked, haven’t used much of anything other than Symfonium for a year or so) below the playlist title there is a spot for a short description.

For me, genres are so broad (or indiscernible) that naming a playlist after a genre does little to remind me of the criteria I had for it unless I’m very explicit with the title, but I don’t want tons of long or literally named playlists like “upbeat/positive, fast paced, y2k & hardstyle without lyrics, not the workout stuff”. I’d much rather give all my playlists the usual cool, creative names and keep a supplementary description with the playlist in case I forget the idea behind the playlist. I adore most everything about Symfonium, but I miss being able to add descriptions to playlists. This feature is probably something more appealing to people who are weird and use Symfonium exclusively for local stuff like me 
, but I’m hoping this is a reasonable request given (what seems like) it’s small scope - apologies if I underestimate it’s complexity.
