Could we have a simple play progress slider on widgets?

Feature description:

All I’m describing is similar to our Android auto graphic, which shows play progress .

Could this be implemented to one of the existing widgets, or is that not technically possible?

Nothing, just to be able to see song progress, as we can in many other places.

Just another feature that separates the best music player from all the others!

Could this be revisited ?

I use Smart Launcher and they have a progress slider in their media widget.

(Just asking, not trying to challenge you here)

Sliders do not exist in widgets. They are the launcher so can display what they want, apps can’t.

There’s ways to show a fake progress image but it won’t support seeking or anything and so would trigger more issues than solutions.

yeah, smart launcher’s widget is pretty slick. that said, the full app has all the controls anyway so it’s not like you’re missing out
