Clear cached images on album doesnt clear track images

Issue description

When I select clear all cached images on an album, I find that individual track images on same album remain. Is this intended? Its really annoying because there’s no easy way to clear an album of 12 plus tracks than individually clicking three dots on each track.

If you enable the option to have per track covers then yes it’s normal. Clear all image cache in advanced settings ?

This isnt an option really, as I dont want to clear all cached images (everything in my case as I cache all images), but, just select albums/tracks which have wrong artwork.

Im sorry, I also do not find this option anywhere. Could you direct me please.

You don’t have a choice for Navidrome.

Unfortunately, this is not giving me the results I had hoped for. Let me explain.

I have recently added .webp animated images to some albums. In the Navidrome GUI I can see that these are picked up, on Symfonium side, I can see they are mostly picked up, but, on some albums, they are only seen on album page, while now playing remains static.

  • I have removed embeded images from these tracks.
  • I have cleared image cache completely on symfonium side many times.
  • Still some tracks images remain static.

This option does exisit in Navidrome Server config:

EnableMediaFileCoverArt* ND_ENABLEMEDIAFILECOVERART If set to false, it will return the album CoverArt when a song CoverArt is requested true

I would then really wished if I set this to false, that, clearing image cache on Sysfonium would default to album webp. But that has not been happening. I could be missing something…
