Chromecast volume skip jump changes from 5 to 4

Issue description:

Increase volume from 0 will increase by 5 each time until I is near 30. Then it will increase by 4. It will then go back to increasing by 5. When switching in increments of 1, it will require 2 clicks of the volume button to change.

Reproduction steps:

 
Cast to Chromecast mini.
Start with volume at zero. Slowly increase the volume use the phone volume buttons until increments of 5 change to 4.

I set the volume to 35 from 30, then the device update it’s volume status saying it’s 34.

Would a complete reinstall of the app possibly solve it?
I’m willing to try anything. This app blows plexamp out of the water.

This is the Chromecast device that does that, there’s not much to do.

Not trying to sound mean. Just curious why Plexamp does not have similar issue. Why others have not reported this.

Well from the feedback I have PlexAmp have many other issues with Chromecast :wink: So not sure it’s the best comparison :wink:

Others probably have not reported this because it’s a really minor issue.

Will dig out an old mini and see if I can workaround this.
