Certain songs won't play when casting

Issue description:

Hey, I’m sure this is just a part of upnp having faults, but do the logs say what the speaker doesn’t like about certain files?

Specifically, the fleetwood mac files. They play off my phone, or when connected to a bluetooth headset, but for sonos, they load for a moment then nothing.

Just curious what sonos is rejecting, so I can convert those files.

There’s no errors in the logs so no way to know why the Sonos don’t play.

Interesting. I’m uploading new logs now, and a screen recording of when it happens.

There’s still no error and you disabled the transcoding engine so no details about the media itself.

The media is probably too high samplerate for the Sonos.

You need to ask @itm to answer on the OS transcoding proposal :wink:

It says the transcoding engine is disabled with this selected?

The wiki says it’s not used for upnp. Is that why it’s showing up as disabled?

Strange it should have logged the ffprobe.

Anyway the root issue does not change.
