Casting to UPnP device randomly skips tracks (even mid track)

Issue description:

When casting to my UPnP device, the player randomly skips to the next track. Most of the time tracks not even start to play and get skipped. Then randomly one track starts to play, but most of the time won’t play until the end because the track gets skipped mid-track.
The issue is NOT tied to a specific format. Some album tracks play, others don’t.
This does not happen when playing on my phone.

From the logs it seems the device have problems reaching Plex, this is also the only possible reason for a skip to occur mid playback.

Try to enable proxy mode in the renderer settings and to cast from the local device provider.

Proxy is not really better.
But I removed the Plex remote server. Left only the local ip address and now it’s way better, but still skips in the middle of the track.
Do you have a timeout configured? Maybe that time is too short? Could you expose the timeout as a variable in the UPnP cast settings?

Once the playback starts it’s all between the upnp device and Plex. Symfonium is not involved and have no timeouts involved.

I now tried other media providers. Both Jellyfin & Navidrome don’t have this issue. So it’s a Plex thing. But I’m fine with using another provider, so consider this case closed.
