Cant see external Lyrics option anywhere

Issue description:

I want to enable External Lyrics but can’t see an option of doing that anywhere in the Local device media player !!

I’m not able to search External Lyrcis in the Local media Provider as per given in the Documentation!!

1. There’s no logs with the “Debug.Logs” description uploaded …
2. As told you in the chat it’s automatic for some provider mode and you manage to even hide the provider mode in the screenshots

So assuming you are using SAF mode, imagine the option is enabled … What is your issue ?

I actually uploaded the logs i dont know why it didnt upload the file , i think some kind of error from my side , anyways where should i re upload the logs ? I added a lrc file , it didnt open in Symfonium but same i opened in Poweramp it opened the lrc file !! So my question is where should i enable the external lyrics option ? And its Local device media player

The logs is maybe uploaded but not with that description or your name so I can’t find it …

For the last time there’s no option for your configuration so stop asking.

Now about the issue, if you add the lrc file after scanning then you need to press sync on the provider so the files are actually scanned …

i’m sorry dev , i’m new here … dont know the workarounds , if you guide me how to upload the logs i could , and you could help me out here. i did hit the sync button but those lyrics dont show up !!

Where are you looking for the lyrics? Have you named the lrc file correctly? You do not give anything… I’m not a mentalist and need to keep asking …

My .lrc files are stored in sd card !! Yes i have named the lrc files properly !! I have attached the ss of submitting the logs and lrc file name , check it out !!

And again 3 times the !! Despite me asking you 3 times to stop that … Seriously…

Then as you can see on first screenshot you have not put a description as requested on the upload. How am I suppose to find a file named debug.log all the files are named debug.log…

Now about the issue you obviously have named the files wrongly…

The song is named xxx.flac but the lyrics are and yyy.lrc and zZZ.lrc when they are supposed to be named xxx.lrc or xxx.lang.lrc

So name the files correctly ? And when asked for the details give them from the start without me asking 5 times? And of course if you put another !! In a sentence you are banned a couple of days.

If you want to check whether your .lrc files are named correctly, you can use my python script lyrict in test mode to scan your entire collection in one go.
