I can’t playback any music now. The “cast” icon shows red for the “local” target.
The previous playback from this device is to a chromecast, but that was two days ago and had long be disconnected

Not sure about how to reproduce. This is first time this happened and issue still persist after force stopped and restart the app

You have the option to restore last renderer enabled.
And since there’s absolutely no device answering this leads to this small display glitch that I’ll fix in next release.
You should be able to just click on Local Device to switch back to actual Local Device.
Else you can disable the option to remember last renderer in settings and force stop the app to recover too.
This didn’t work for me, clicking on the local device in the cast target list does nothing.
This works for me, so consider the issue solved for me, thanks.
(uploaded another debug log at key “darkpi-cast-2” in case it contains any useful information about why clicking the local device don’t work. Note that the log is after I disable the option and restart so probably not useful, but just in case

Yes while writing the fix I saw that clicking also did not work due to the temporary state.
Next version will have a proper indication of the renderer restoration and unable to find status.
