Can't get Smart Playlist to read "comment" metadata

Issue description:

I’m using subsonic through Nextcloud Music.

A lot of my mp3s have some information in the comment section.

When I create a smart playlist which has

Comment IS “blah”, none of the tracks with “blah” show up. The smart playlist is empty.

I guess I’m missing something crucial.

You need to ask in Issues · owncloud/music · GitHub so they add support for the field then it will be usable after a sync.

i can do that, but i had it working before i reinstalled Symfonium. I wonder what I did differently.

You probably used the WebDAV where it’s Symfonium that parse the tags and not nextcloud.

(This is less efficient if you want transcoding so, still better to have them add support for the field)
