Can the cast button be on the now playing screen?

Is there a setting to move the cast button? Or do I need to submit a feature request?

Yes it can be added anywhere except the playback controls. (So it can go on the Top/bottom bar, cover icon, any string icon…) Just edit your NPS and add the button where you want it.

Thank you. I should have known better, when I would go to Settings > Interface > NPS, I saw the three options, I thought those were the only options. I didn’t realize I could tap in further. Lots of customization, love it. My bad.
