Bluetooth malfunctioning when connecting to car stereo

Issue description:

Hi there,

Device: HiBy R4
The media provider: Jellyfin but locally cached and local files (with no internet available)

Whenever I connect my HiBy R4 to my home stereo HiFi over regular Bluetooth, I have no playback issues. The sound flows from the headphones to the HiFi and when toggling BT off, it flows back with no delay or skips.
Whenever I connect it to my car, I get no sound and after a few seconds the track gets skipped to the next one. Manually skipping in the seek bar allows sound to play too.
Plus, cover art does not show in the car - it shows with other apps like Poweramp. Other metadata does show correctly. The problem does reoccur whenever I reconnect to the car.

I’ve tried the same thing with AVRCP 1.5 (in logs) and 1.6 (no logs) with no difference
 

Reproduction steps:

 
In debug mode, I have:

  • resumed playback through the 3.5 jack
  • automatically let HiBy connect to BT while still playing the track
  • not touched any controls
  • it automatically skips to the next track and plays as normal, albeit without an album cover

Thank you very much Tolriq, the EQ did the trick.
However, for the missing cover art, I assume that’s out of your control? Which is weird given PowerAmp works just fine with the images… could it be the way they’re cached which differs from the simple local audio files PA deals with?
