Firstly, the uploaded debug.log is large because I’ve been trying to track a number of bugs so left it on.
“Always prefer server version” turned on
Streaming via Chromecast
Pause
Press Chromecast icon and choose Play on: Local device
Walk to car
Bluetooth in car and music plays
Start driving
Approximately 30 seconds later (near timestamp 2025-01-16 07:13:00) Symfonium choses to play on “This phone” instead of car bluetooth.
I have included a screenshot of my phone where you can see that my phone is connected to my car via Bluetooth in the top right corner.
Log uploaded in c0utta.zip via upload.symfonium.app.
Does this mean that my phone (or car maybe?) is choosing to change Symfonium’s output from the Bluetooth connection to “This Phone”?
I know you’re going to hate this statement, but no other app (PodcastAddict, dSub, Tempo) does this - only Symfonium. Could it be the disconnection from WiFi (where Symfonium is playing from the server) to playing the cached version?
I know you’re going to hate this statement but none of the non Tesla cars have FSD or Supercharger issues …
I know this is hard to understand but Symfonium support a lot more things than other apps. Typically it fully embrace the output switcher of Android 13+ that none of those do
And this seems to be a bug in Play Services and the output switcher that tries to resume ended session (should not) and on failure seems to play with the media routes (again should not).
I’ll add an advanced setting to disable that and workaround that bug.
