Feature description
Please add a “Block Explicit Content” toggle to Symfonium. When enabled, the app should automatically hide or skip songs marked as explicit in their metadata, regardless of whether the music comes from Navidrome, Jellyfin, Emby, Subsonic/OpenSubsonic, or a local library. An optional PIN lock to prevent children from disabling the setting would also be appreciated.
Problem solved
Symfonium is an excellent app for families using self-hosted music servers, but there is currently no simple way to prevent children from playing explicit songs. Parents have to create separate libraries or playlists, which is inconvenient and not always practical.
Brought benefits
A built-in explicit content filter would make Symfonium much more family-friendly. It would provide a simple parental control, reduce the need for duplicate libraries, and make the app easier to recommend to users with children.
Other application solutions
Streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music offer ways to restrict explicit content for children. A similar option in Symfonium would bring the same convenience to self-hosted music collections.
