With the latest beta, and when making use of the adaptive sampling/exclusive usb dac implementation, I having issues changing my volume with the volume buttons on my phone. In-app, volume up will simply not respond and volume down just arbitrarily stops at 13. It does seem to alter the volume when it indicates it’s doing so but its by a very small amount.
Changing the volume step count doesn’t seem to affect anything.
And outside of the app the volume control popup shows it the volume being changed (very slowly) but doesn’t audibly change the volume, the volume pop-up will sometimes just randomly update itself to reflect where it actually is after repeated attempts.
If I change my volume by dragging the slider from the in-app or outside of app volume pop-up it does work as expected so it seems to be purely an issue with the physical volume buttons and how they’re being communicated with the app.
Ah if that’s the case then my mistake for double posting, I did search but didn’t find anything. Clearly missed yours. Hopefully we’ll see it fixed soon!

I can tell you the reason behind phone button issue though
It happens cause android prioritises Media Volume, but when we use USB Exclusive Mode it shows up under differnt some external volume type stuff, and when we are not on the symfonium screen android sometimes changes media volume and not usb volume.

As the other user said it’s not wholly resolved yet. It’s definitely far improved, much more responsive, the buttons actually do change the volume now, both in an out of the app.
However it doesn’t alter the volume by consistent amounts, from a single click of volume up for example, it will sometimes step up by just 1 (as expected) but very often jump by 2 steps instead. Same is true for volume down. I believe I may have seen it step up to 3 but I couldn’t recreate it so might have been misremembering it.

The volume step size setting seems to have no effect at all/doesn’t function entirely.
