With the latest beta, and when making use of the adaptive sampling/exclusive usb dac implementation, I having issues changing my volume with the volume buttons on my phone. In-app, volume up will simply not respond and volume down just arbitrarily stops at 13. It does seem to alter the volume when it indicates it’s doing so but its by a very small amount.
Changing the volume step count doesn’t seem to affect anything.

And outside of the app the volume control popup shows it the volume being changed (very slowly) but doesn’t audibly change the volume, the volume pop-up will sometimes just randomly update itself to reflect where it actually is after repeated attempts.

If I change my volume by dragging the slider from the in-app or outside of app volume pop-up it does work as expected so it seems to be purely an issue with the physical volume buttons and how they’re being communicated with the app.

I posted about this about two weeks ago.

Ah if that’s the case then my mistake for double posting, I did search but didn’t find anything. Clearly missed yours. Hopefully we’ll see it fixed soon!

It’s not necessarily the same as it’s phone button and not DAC buttons.

I’m trying to finish beta 3 to gather more logs and everything, but it’s taking a lot more time than planned.

@Tolriq Sorry if I didn’t mention it was both Phone buttons and the one on IEM

I can tell you the reason behind phone button issue though

It happens cause android prioritises Media Volume, but when we use USB Exclusive Mode it shows up under differnt some external volume type stuff, and when we are not on the symfonium screen android sometimes changes media volume and not usb volume.

Esp when Support DAC button is enabled

Try beta 3 and report back.

Issue although happens less now but sometimes it still happens.
