In my Plex server, I copied several thousand tracks from different artists into one folder, and tagged them with the same Album name. It seemed to be the easiest way to manage them. Then I created a smart playlist in Plex that only has one criteria which is the album name. That way when I add new tracks which are tagged correctly, Plex will find them for the playlist.
What is my best way to add that to Symfonium as a playlist so it will automatically pickup new tracks when syncing? Creating a regular playlist? Smart playlist? There are a lot of options on how to do this. I feel like I have made this more complicated than I really need to but I am welcome to suggestions.
One thing I have noticed also is that even though almost every track has its own unique cover in the track which is the artist or the original album, every track shows the same graphic from just one track, presuming because the album name is the same. Anyway around that?
