Feature description:

First of all, thanks for the great app!

I would like a way to automatically refresh smart playlist (e.g. every hour/day/week). This way I could make my own “daily mixes”

Problem solved:

Now I have to manually create a smart playlist, add the filters and favorite it so it will be on the homepage

Brought benefits:

With this feature, the app will provide songs on a(n) hourly/daily/weekly basis with filters picked by the user.

This would be great for discovering songs and making mixes to listen casually to

I have no idea what you mean. Smart Playlist are always instantly updated.

I believe they want to be able to have a chameleon smart playlist. So the rules for the smart playlist would change automatically at any given interval & thus populate different tracks at each interval.

…If im understanding this correctly.

Not sure how that could be implemented as described

We currently have the ability to add a playlist to the homescreen. Maybe some sort of system that swaps which playlist is visible or in the header that shows the playlist name on the homescreen add a button to cycle through your other playlists.

I thought of a playlist that changes on a chosen interval with the same filters. So every interval it populates again.

For example you can make a smart playlist with the filters: genre: pop, mood: happy and year: after 2010

Then at every interval it will populate again with different songs that are also pop, happy and released after 2010

Just sort the playlist by random and it will do that.

Else if the sort is fixed the order will be fixed and there’s nothing to change anyway.
