Feature description
I keep my own artist images in the artist folder for every artist in my library. For example:
Artist Name
→ Album 1
→ Album 2
→ folder.jpg
I would love a setting, option, or automatic feature for Symfonium to use those images.
Problem solved
I’ve read into the ArtistInfo feature, but hosting a separate folder on my media server with duplicates of every artist image in my library just for Symfonium isn’t an ideal solution. I would be forced into duplicates, though, because I use several other music players across different devices which all work with my folder structure.
Brought benefits
Seamless, automatic retrieval of personally curated local artist images, for those of us who prefer to not use MusicBrainz and the like, in a sensible fashion (album images go in the album folder, artist images go in the artist folder).
Other application solutions
Something akin to foobar2000’s artist image search patterns would be excellent. By default, foobar looks for artist images in the album folder. The default search pattern looks like this, for example: “folder.*” Users can add custom search patterns, though, such as “..\folder.*” to indicate that it should also check the parent directory of the album folder.

Additional description and context
If, for whatever reason, it wouldn’t be possible to use the filename “folder.*”, I could easily change my other music players to look for a different filename. I searched the feature requests for a while looking for this same suggestion and didn’t turn up anything. I apologize if I missed something.
