Artist description not showing

Issue description:

So I have an artist that I added her LastFm description recently and is now correctly showing on my Navidrome server but Symfonium does not fetch it. Looking at the logs the correct query is generated and executed but it appears that artists.description is empty in the Symfonium database. I tried deleting the cache but the button in advanced settings does nothing and shows nothing. I also tried deleting the cache from android settings and still does not fetch it when synchronizing.

As said on Reddit I need logs containing a full sync and the name of said artist.

The new log is now submitted. The description is: Log with full sync - Artist KUINA

The artist name is: KUINA
Artist ID is: 0vKyhze0jgIypTIodnBi4a

Ok so the usual cache issue if there was images returned before.

Will add a button in next release to clear that cache and force fetch on next sync.

But there is already button in advanced setting for it that in says something like “clean cache information collected from artists” right? But I think it just does not work

That’s different. Your issue is specific to Subsonic API limitations.

I tried today using the button and nothing happens, just a simple animation but no feedback nor a message or similar as for artist images.

Same happens for the media information removing button.

What are those buttons for then? Are they placeholders?

They do what they are saying they do :wink: But as said before :

Maybe in Spanish is less clear what they do, for my understanding they should do what the provider button does, removing the memory of the artists info, maybe it’s me :confused:

What’s the difference between that scraped cache and the scraped in the media provider? Does the app has like two copies? One temporal and the other lasting?

Still would be nice some feedback from them
