Sure, but then everything would need to have the overlay, unless there’s a way to add the over on only part of the string. (Overlay=background of high res string)
You just need to enable the “Protection” on the icon, I chose not to use it in the other releases cause its a bit too dark, I hope Tolriq changes it and let’s us adjust the transparency.
You mean like the \o I just told you about ? ![]()
I didn’t realise that, thank you as always and I seriously hope you are considering the transparency thing for the icon overlay!
Sorry to ask again how do I add that layer that goes over the more option ![]()
Options → Interface → Now Playing Screen → Go to whichever String number you want and search for “String x icon x protection” and enable it.
Hi, this is a really awesome theme! I just have a quick question. In release 3.1, the hi-res text shifts left and right as the displayed time for player.position or player.remaining changes. Is there a way to keep the text fixed?
Quick question what did you do for the string to be able to have the lossless indicator exactly where Apple music would put it where it’s in center ![]()
That’s a great question, which I’ll probably answer with a fix if I figure out how to do it. I’m a bit busy now and it seems like it can’t be fixed (unless I move it where it was before/suggest to change font)
Also, welcome to the forum!
As Tolriq said a few comments before this one, if you use \t do divide the string into Left, Center and Right, and then put a \o, you get what the theme uses.
(Basically, stringp1 \t\o stringp2 \t stringp3)
Ik sorry I’m a bit of a idiot I’m confused ![]()
This is the string: %player.position%\t\o{DynamicText}\t%player.remaining%
As you can see, the 3 parts are divided by 2 \t and the middle part is overlayed with \o.
Hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I also tried to come up with a fix myself, but unfortunately I couldn’t think of a good solution either. For now, I’ve added back your approach from the 3.0 release, and I’m perfectly happy with that.
Thanks again for all the work you’re putting into this — I’m really enjoying the theme!
The only thing I can do for now is recommeding to use a Custom Font like “Roboto Mono” (or the System Default if you have a Samsung Device)
Maybe @Tolriq can tell us if this is just too specific or if there’s a way to not make the text move everytime it recalculates what is the real center.
There’s no way to fix, the spacing is dynamic, if you have a string that change a lot, you don’t want overlap, what if you have 4 strings ? or 2 ?
I figured, maybe you could fix the position of a specific string to the actual Left, Center and right based on the space available horizontally.
But the custom font is the better fix.
I’ve been messing with this one, I made my variation of it, it looks pretty dope, it looks like a mix of Spotify and Apple Music, so thanks, man. I actually didn’t know you can make something as good looking, you know.
That looks great! You can really make anything with Symfonium.
Is it okay if you can share the config file for this?
Sure, please enjoy.
