App stopped saving things

Issue description:

Android 15 Latest Patch
App Version 13.7.0. 127660

This morning i tried to create a new int. playlist, set up everything and pressed on save. The Window closed but the new playlist did not appear.

I then tried to edit one of three already existing playlists, i pressed save, the window closed changes were gone.

Next i tried to delete the app cache, issues remained.

Restarted phone, issue remained.

Uninstalled App, issue remained and even better.
I have two Jellyfin Mediasources, Source 1 (Musik), Source 2 (Podcasts). During the installation i can setup the first instance, but not the second. It simply does not save, i also cant edit the first one.

You are using Jellyfin 10.11 that is broken and slow with music, while a sync is running many things are queued to the end of the sync, that takes ages due to Jellyfin current state.

Thank you for your fast response. Since i cannot disable Sync i will wait until my phone storage will be full i guess.

What is your recommended way of syncing? I had for a long time no issues at all with jellyfin 10.1*

Don’t use 10.11  And it won’t fill the storage, Jellyfin 10.11 is just absurdingly slow with music. A 1 min sync can take 30 min now for no reason.

Almost tempting to spin it up for a laugh to see if it takes 30 hours for my library as it already took 1 hour in 10.10.

Something is really broken, i unsure on which site tho.

Synching takes super long, 104 Songs per Minute is my speed on a very decent machine in local network.

But still, i dont have any other sync issues with other apps. Even broken by default stuff like Lidify works fine (and fast).

@Tolriq is there an Github Issue up, where i can read some more details about this issue?

There’s dozens of issues on Jellyfin github about music performance…

Just see the Finamp github that explicitely still say in big red do not use Jellyfin 10.11

There’s only 1 API, if the API is now 3000% slower, on what side the problem ? …

Hey, sorry, I didn’t mean to attack you. I just wanted to point out that Symfonium is the only app I use that has slowed down.

That’s a very objective view from a very narrow perspective.

That is exactly my problem, there are hundreds of issues open on github and i (as user) dont know, which i am supposed to look / monitor.

Hier wird scheinbar alles gesammelt.
